How to Access Live Lessons Additional Resources Troubleshooting
There maybe occasions that we ask students to undertake learning at home. The main platform for this will be Google Classroom. Resources and lessons will be uploaded, by teachers, to Google Classroom. Students, where possible, should access the work online and return it to their teacher through Google Classroom.
If students are finding difficulties with home learning they can contact their teacher with any questions or queries through the private message function. In some circumstances there may be a delay in your teacher responding. We recommend, where possible, that students follow their school timetable when undertaking home learning.
ICT Setup – Microsoft Office 365 and Google Classroom
To support home learning, students have access to install Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) through registering with their Joseph Whitaker email address. This can be installed on either a tablet, phone or home computer.

Google Classroom is also being used both as a homework tool and to support home learning. Students have a Google email address which allows them to have full access to Google Classroom and Google Documents. This can be accessed via the internet through the Google search engine.
