The Nominees

Mrs Caroline Jones

7 Sycamore Close, Rainworth.

Parent of: Alice and Isobelle

As parent governor I’d be uniquely placed to champion the views of parents / carers to help in the continuing improvement of the school. With 20 years teaching experience in educational settings I am passionate about teaching, learning and curriculum innovation. As an Art Consultant I deliver workshops and work with schools to improve their learning environments. I would relish the role as parent governor as our family has an invested interest in the school becoming the best version of itself.

Hi my name is Claire, I have 2 children in school Olivia (yr10) & Isabelle (yr7). I am passionate about the education and well-being of pupils. My professional role involves training Primary and Secondary teachers, as well as observing and coaching teachers in Further Education, which I feel puts me in an ideal position to support and challenge points presented to the board. I am confident to be ‘our voice as parents’ when considering decisions that affect our children and us.
