The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 25th June 2025 as a ‘contingency day’ for examinations. The designation of a ‘contingency day’ within the common exam timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the UK. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.

We must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available to sit exams until Wednesday 25th June 2025 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.

Exam Certificates

Summer 2025 Exam Certificates will be available for collection from Monday 8^th December – Friday 12^th December from Main Reception, after this date certificates can be collected with 24hrs notice by emailing exams@josephwhitaker.org – If someone is collecting on your behalf they need your written permission to do so.

Historic Exam Certificates

Please email all enquiries to exams@josephwhitaker.org please be aware that any certificates requested that are 5 years or older there will be a £25 administration fee to pay to receive your certificates.
